welcome to evoke systems

Evoke Systems' Electronic Flight Operations Systems (EFOS) is an innovative technology designed to replace costly existing paper processes, collect and analyse valuable data, ensure regulator compliance and improve communications between flight crew and flight operations managers.

EFOS connects the front-line workforce with many back-office systems and thereby forms an integral, significant and vital part of an airline’s safety, quality and risk management systems.

EFOS provides an airline with:

  • effective communications between office staff and a dispersed, highly mobile workforce;
  • a way to reduce "difficult to manage" paper work. Paper-based processes are wasteful and often contain valuable data that is not easily accessible;
  • a training report workflow system. ATQP (alternative training qualification program) requires the adoption of an electronic training report system to allow trend and performance analysis. Even if ATQP is not a priority, EFOS vastly reduces the amount of paper involved in the recording of training events. EFOS provides for a validated process that greatly improves auditing and ensures regulator compliance;
  • a simplified way to ensure version control and distribution of flight operations manuals to flying and engineering staff;
  • provision of extensive audit data for regulator compliance in many areas of flight operations;
  • a database that allows analysis of valuable information to improve flight planning (fuel usage) and "on-time" performance.

EFOS draws on the founders’ experiences in commercial flight operations, development of secure networks, intelligent data analysis and software authorship.

EFOS modules are available to cater for the needs of any airline regardless of size, type of operation or legacy infrastructure.

March 2009

Latest release of EFOS:Efb introduces full synchronisation with EFOS:Web libraries and crew notices. This release also introduces a much improved user interface and an improved application launcher to allow third party programs to be accessed seamlessly. Additional logging of hardware status/activity is also added to enable full tracking and auditing of EFB devices via EFOS:Web.

November 2008

New module added to EFOS:Web to allow customers to prepare quotations for ad-hoc charters. This application provides configurable checklists for processes, reports for audit purposes and integrates fully with the operations board to allow viewing of aircraft/crew allocation and charter status (quoted/optioned/confirmed).

September 2008

An operations board which ties together information from the electronic journey log has been added to EFOS:Web. The board displays the status of flights, aircraft and crews to serve as a planning and analysis tool. The board can also be used to track crew leave, FTL and manage other resources.

July 2008

A Safety Management System (SMS) is added to EFOS. This allows for reporting, investigation, auditing and analysis of safety related occurrences.

SMS is a mandatory requirement for all UK AOC holders from January 2010.

March 2008

Version 2 of the Training Form Module has now been extended to include line and type conversion training in addition to recurrent checks and training events.
