October 2009

An Operations Log is added to EFOS. This new module allows flight operations staff to log events that occur during their shift. The system is highly structured to provide analysis of key events and provides an audited hand-over check list and ties together the functions of operations crewing, flight planning, engineering and security staff.

August 2009

Evoke Systems has enhanced the Journey Log Module of EFOS:Web to comply with the Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) requirements of the European Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). To complement the existing fuel efficiency functions and analysis additional data points are now collected enabling clients to accurately monitor their emissions and generate ETS benchmark reports, such as qualifying flights and tonne kilometre data.

July 2009

The operations board has been re-written in Silverlight to improve usability and speed. Functionality has been further improved whilst retaining all previous interactions with the electronic journey log.

March 2009

Latest release of EFOS:Efb introduces full synchronisation with EFOS:Web libraries and crew notices. This release also introduces a much improved user interface and an improved application launcher to allow third party programs to be accessed seamlessly. Additional logging of hardware status/activity is also added to enable full tracking and auditing of EFB devices via EFOS:Web.

November 2008

New module added to EFOS:Web to allow customers to prepare quotations for ad-hoc charters. This application provides configurable checklists for processes, reports for audit purposes and integrates fully with the operations board to allow viewing of aircraft/crew allocation and charter status (quoted/optioned/confirmed).

September 2008

An operations board which ties together information from the electronic journey log has been added to EFOS:Web. The board displays the status of flights, aircraft and crews to serve as a planning and analysis tool. The board can also be used to track crew leave, FTL and manage other resources.

July 2008

A fully featured Safety Management System (SMS) is added to EFOS:WEB. This allows for reporting, investigation, auditing and analysis of safety related occurrences. The SMS features unique risk analysis tools and integrates with the existing EFOS database.

SMS is a mandatory requirement for all UK AOC holders from January 2010.

December 2007

Evoke Systems completes development of the electronic journey log/sector analysis module. This element of EFOS analyses fuel usage by individual aircraft, fleet, base and route. It provides numerous analysis metrics such as litres/revenue tonne km and improves flight planning accuracy. The system fully integrates with FDM, crew management systems and the EFOS report module. On-time-performance and holding delays are also recorded and analysed for trends.
